About Me
Background
As a qualified and experienced children's Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner I am super passionate about early intervention and prevention of common mental heath problems.
The biggest complaint I hear from families is that support just simply isn't available or they are stuck on a never ending waiting list. So, I started ThinkWise with the aim of helping children and families get the support they need, when they need it.
What I do
I offer evidence-based, low intensity CBT therapy to help young people struggling with mild to moderate common mental health issues such as anxiety, panic, phobias, OCD or depression.
An average treatment plan consists of 6-8 sessions of approximately 45 minutes. During this time we work together to achieve your treatment goals.
As a qualified coach, I can also help you manage stress and personal gremlins before they turn into a mental health problem.
Quality Assurance
I am a graduate member of the British Psychological Society and adhere to their code of ethics.
I have a psychology degree, a postgraduate certificate in low intensity psychological interventions (camhs) and a postgraduate certificate in supervision for PWPs. I am also a qualified coach and first aid for mental health trainer.
I am fully insured to deliver training and psychological interventions to individuals and businesses.
